Hot on the heels of a Cammeray trophy home coming to market to challenge the suburb record, comes another glamorous mansion.
And this one, known as Bremon, at Warrawee, is set to challenge the entire upper north shore’s house sale price record.
The grand 6406sqm estate, which comes with a 20-car garage, eight-bedroom home, tennis court, pool, jacuzzi, 3000-bottle wine cellar, home cinema, and separate studio apartment, has a price guide of $17.5 million.
She said the current owner had engaged full-time staff to restore the property. They have been working solidly for the past 18 months to finish the project, she said.
“They (the owner) spent millions of dollars to restore it to its former glory,” Ms Tu said. “They have done an amazing job on the mansion – it is an estate in the city, in a wonderful street and so close to everything.”
The upper north shore’s sales record is believed to be held by Mandalay, at 32 Nelson St, Gordon.
The turn-of-the-century Federation estate underwent a multi-million restoration and renovation before it was sold at the end of 2019.
The hush hush deal is believed to be worth around $14 million, although agents Glenn Curran, of McGrath Lindfield, and Darren Curtis, of Ken Jacobs Christie’s International Realty haven’t confirmed this.
The previous record was set in 2018, with the sale of 18 Water St, Wahroonga for $13 million.
