Life returns to Kangaroo Valley with bushland retreat listing

Views to die for.

A sprawling hillside 56 hectare block of Kangaroo Valley land with breathtaking views of the Tallowa Dam and surrounding region has come on the market five months since bushfires ravaged the local area.

A two-bedroom home on the property at 515 Tallowa Dam Road, Kangaroo Valley, was destroyed in the 2020 fires and the remaining concrete slab is the perfect base to rebuild.

Amazing bushland retreat.

“Not much survived the fires but the regrowth has just come back and it looks beautiful and almost surreal … when we were using the drone a pair Wedge Tail Eagles nesting in the rock escarpment above attacked it and bought it down.

“The area is just stunning and part of the property goes over the road and to the top of the escarpment that sits over the river.”

The are a number of dams and a swimming hole on the property.

There are three hectares of cleared land, a septic tank and mains electricity and a phone line can be easily connected.
